May 27, 2011 -The day before we moved-
Lunch with my grandfather. It was hard because May 25 was 7 months since my grandma (his wife) passed away. Saying goodbye he started crying, then my mom did and then of course, I did. When we left we got the moving truck from Penske. Once we got the truck back to the old apartment we started moving stuff in. We got some surprise visitors to say goodbye, well mainly everyone but me. Everyone I needed to say goodbye was either back home from school or too far at the time to visit. We stopped around 11pm and we still had a lot of stuff to move in.
May 28, 2011 -Moving day-
We got up early to finish packing the truck with our stuff. We had Mike's best friend help us most the time and around 1pm we were finally done. My brother, sister and I headed on the road. My stepdad and mom had to load our friend's stuff in and drop her off in Pa and then head to our first stop. We stayed in New York at my aunt's (mom's sister) for a couple nights. It was nice, my two little cousins stayed with me in the camper the two nights. They love camping but with my uncle's recent surgery, they can't for awhile so I treated them.
May 30, 2011 -Head to PA for an hour visit then Missouri Bound-
Monday, we head out, following my parents this time, to Lucinda, Pa to visit with my grandma ( my real dad's mom). We stayed for about an hour and got some goodies for the trip. Luckly we left when we did. We had to travel through Ohio, which was nice except....well let me show you first:

Tornado, we basically circled. This was about 7 or 8pm at night. A couple hours later for about an hour or two we traveled through the worst thunderstorm I have ever seen. Let's just that night became day every so often. We didn't stop to sleep until we were in Missouri, or like an hour away from it. We slept for about 15 mins at a rest area, I couldn't find one of the cats and with the windows down a bit, I thought he ran away. He didn't he was hiding pretty well. Well my sister asks my mom how long have we been sleeping and my mom says, joking around, about an hour. My sister replies, wow it feels like I have been sleeping for three hours. So we continued driving, stopped at a diner for breakfast and then kept going to Springfield. We past by the St.. Louis Arch:
Beautiful right.....I stole this off google images because the photos we took were really bad, thanks to driving.
Oh I forgot to mention that in before stopping at the previous rest stop my sister ran over this tire that was in the middle of the road. My sister's natural instinct was to stop luckly the driver behind saw what happened and stop in time, due to the fact he was a tractor. Unfortunately, when looking back there was five truckers heading towards us at once. My sister pulled over and the truckers and other vehicles past us safely. Our vehicle was fine and we continued.
After passing the Arch, it was three hours to home.....Home =) can I say it again? HOME =) I love it.
This is the outside from our apartment but they all look the same.
This right outside our apartment.
So we made it, obviously....we spent the next two days packing and next two weeks unpacking. More to come about the next few weeks after unpaking and coming up to date with everything. =)
